ANF seizes 122 kgs drugs, arrests 24 suspects during crackdowns

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Rawalpindi has recovered 122 kilogram of drugs and arrested 24 suspects during different operations.

According to details, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Rawalpindi has recovered 122 kilogram of drugs, including 32 kilogram of heroin, 90 kilogram of hashish and 2100 liters estacan hydriad which is used for making heroin and arrested 24 suspects. At least nine vehicles used in drugs smuggling were also seized in different operations in Rawalpindi region.  Sources said that ANF team was conducted an operation on credible information and stopped a car on Rawalpindi GT road. During search of the vehicle the team recovered six kilograms of heroin and arrested 2 accused named Umair and Abbas.

In another operation, ANF team raided on a house situated in Gulistan Colony in Rawalpindi and recovered eight kilograms of heroin and arrested Muhammad Nooh Khan, Sohail Irshad, Wajahat, and Manzor Ahmed.

While ANF team recovered 10 kilograms of heroin and six kilograms of hashish from a car near Peerwadhai Morr and arrested two accused named Abdulllah and lady Nair Sultana. Similarly ANF team recovered totally 122 kilograms of drugs and arrested 24 accused persons in Rawalpindi region.
