KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered a huge quantity of liquor and heroin during an operation in Sarjani Town.
The ANF sourcs informed Customs Today that on information that a huge quantity of alcohol and heroin will be smuggled from Karachi, an ANF team conducted a raid in Khuda Ki Basti area and recovered 150 bottles of alcohol and 300 grams of heroin. The market value of the seized alcohol is Rs 800,000.
It is pertinent to mention here that the ANF team also conducted a raid in same area and recovered a huge quantity of heroin. One person was also taken into custody during the raid. The ANF team also recovered 80 capsules of heroin from a passenger who was attempting to travel to China through a foreign airline.
