KARACHI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) authorities recovered huge quantity of narcotics during different operations in the city.
Sources informed Customs Today that ANF team intercepted an oil tanker and recovered 4 tons of charas. ANF team arrested the driver and registered a case against him. During another crackdown ANF team raided on a container in Kemari and recovered 16 tons of prohibited chemical. ANF sources said that these chemicals used in manufacturing of narcotics, and this chemical was bound to proceed to Afghanistan. ANF team arrested two accused person.
In another crackdown ANF team raided an apatment in Al Asif Square and recovered 10 kilograms of charas and 38 bottles of foreign liquor. ANF team seized all the narcotics and registered separate cases against arrested accused persons.
