Anti-Narcotics Court cancels bail of Nigerian suspect on late attendance

LAHORE: Special Federal Court of Anti-Narcotics Lahore has canceled the bail of Nigerian national for not attending the court hearing on time and sentenced two year imprisonment to a woman drug peddler.

As per detail, Nigerian citizen was involved in narcotics smuggling and his hearing was scheduled at Anti-Narcotics Court.

On the late arrival of the accused, Judge Khalid Nawaz stated that if lawyer and judges could reach on time, the accused should obey the laws.

The court sent the accused to jail and asked to present him before the court on April 18. Anti Narcotics Force arrested a citizen of Nigeria on charges of drug smuggling and he has been released on bail.

In another case, Anti Narcotics Court sentenced two year imprisonment to a woman accused Sakeena Bibi, involved in drugs selling. ANF had recovered the 500 grams heroin from her possession.
