LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport arrested a narcotics smuggler. The accused was trying to smuggle 1.5 kilogram fine quality heroin from Lahore to Kuala Lumpur through Malindo Air flight # 132.
Reportedly, when a resident of Faisalabad Tahir Mehmood entered the airport lounge, the ANF staff started searching him. The ANF staff recovered 1.5 kilogram heroin from his luggage. The accused was handed over to the ANF staff for legal proceeding. A case was registered against the accused on the report of the officials.
