Anti Narcotics Force nabs 6 smugglers, recovers 12kg hashish

LAHORE: The Anti Narcotics Force recovered 12 kilogram hashish and one kilogram opium and arrested 6 accused, including a women, in three different operations.

According to details, the ANF team was on its routine checkup when they intercepted a Toyota Corolla car near Mian Plaza, Johar Town and recovered 4 kilogram hashish from the car. The team arrested three drug smugglers who were identified as Rana Falak Sher and Muhammad Javed residents of Gujranwala and Atta Ullah Khan a resident of Peshawar.

In another operation, ANF arrested Muhammad Faisal and Naseem Bibi resident of Lahore while trying to smuggle seven kilogram hashish near G-1 Market, Johar Town.

Meanwhile, in third operation, the ANF team arrested a drug peddler from Mankera, Bhakkar who was identified as Saleem Khan a resident of Bhakkar and recovered one kilogram hashish and one kilogram opium from his possession.

The Anti Narcotics Force registered separate cases of drug smuggling against the accused and further proceedings are under way.
