Anti-smuggling campaign is in full swing in Gujranwala: Additional Collector  Waheed Anwar

SIALKOT: Additional Collector Customs Waheed Anwar has said that anti-smuggling campaign is in full swing in Gujranwala Division.

Talking to Customs Today, he said that the teams of the Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) are performing their duty on roads to control smuggling and results of their patrolling are fruitful. He said the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman has strictly instructed to all Customs Collectors to adopt comprehensive strategies to curb smuggling from country. He said the government is trying to get rid of this menace.

He said that the performance of the ASO teams, which are patrolling on Wazirabad, Gujranwala and Aimanabad roads, is getting better day by day. Waheed Anwar said that he directed the ASO teams to check all vehicles thoroughly and not to spare anyone who found involved in smuggling.
