ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal (CAT) Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti has postponed his arrival to the federal capital owing to hearing of significant cases in Lahore.
Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti, who was scheduled to arrive and resume hearings at the tribunal headquarters in Islamabad, has to cancel visit on account of overwhelming cases proceedings in Lahore.
Appellate tribunal official told Customs Today that chairman would resume hearing at headquarters soon, though they abstained from mentioning any specific dates for his arrival in absence of new schedule.
“It is premature to provide date for chairman’s arrival in Islamabad since new schedule was not received yet”, said senior official.
