Appraisement-East collects over Rs 18.19b in Nov

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement-East collected over Rs 18,195 million revenue during November.

MCC of Appraisement-East collected Rs 5,123 million under the head of Customs Duty; Rs 9,953 million in Sales Tax; Rs 3,028 million in Withholding Tax and Rs 91 million under the head of Federal Excise Duty during November.

The Collectorate exceeded the November CD target of Rs 4,787 million by over 7 percent; Withholding Tax target of Rs 2,970.04 million by 1.92 percent and Federal Excise Duty target of Rs 64.27 million by over 42 percent. The Collectorate exceeded the overall revenue collection target by over 12 percent.
