Appraisement-West collects Rs 24.7b in March 2016

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement-West collected around Rs 24.746 billion duty/taxes under various heads during March, 2016.

According to statistics available with Customs Today, the Appraisement-West collected Rs 11.530 billion under the head of customs duty, Rs 9.427 billion in wake of sales tax, Rs 3.634 billion as income tax and Rs 153.73 million under head of federal excise duty during the said period.

At all, it collected Rs 198.056 billion taxes and duties since July 1 to March 31, 2016 that included Rs 75.544 billion under head of customs duty; Rs 87.525 billion as sales tax; Rs 33.499 billion as income tax and Rs 1486 million under the head of federal excise duty.
