APTEA urges FBR to restore performance allowance

LAHORE: The All Pakistan Tax Employees Association (APTEA) urged the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and federal finance ministry to restore performance allowance of the employees which was freeze in the finance bill 2015.

President APTEA Asghar Ali Waryah told Customs Today that It was decided that all FBR officials will be awarded special allowance equal to 100% basic pay which was frozen in the Finance Bill 2011.

It is pertinent to mention here that after suspension of 100% special allowance frozen employees of FBR registered their protest.

President APTEA said that FBR management promises to restore the performance allowance but on the other hand it suspended the same. They urged the higher authorities of FBR to take notice of this situation and do the needful.
