ASF detains foreigner attempting to smuggle 5.5kg heroin abroad

ISLAMABAD: The Airport Security Force (ASF) arrested a foreigner attempting to smuggle over 5.5 kilogrammes of heroin to Toronto on Thursday.

A spokesman for ASF revealed that a foreigner travelling to Toronto through Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-631 from Benazir Bhutto International Airport was concealing more than 5.5 kilogrammes of heroin in his baggage. During the search of his baggage, ASF personnel recovered the concealed drugs worth millions of rupees in international market and arrested the suspect.
