ISLAMABAD: The Airport Security Force (ASF) has foiled an attempt to smuggle 500 grams heroin to United Arab Emirates at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad.
As per details, ASF team deputed at Islamabad airport held a passenger namely Arman Khalid on suspicion. While searching his luggage, the officials recovered 500 gram of heroin and bullets of hand gun.
The accused person was going to Abu Dhabi, UAE through private airlines and wanted to smuggle the confiscated items there.
The officials added that accused person had been arrested on the support however; further investigation is underway, in this regard.
