LAHORE: AGPR Punjab Division has objected pre-mature increments of sepoys of the Pakistan Customs Lahore, an official circular stated.

The circular said that the service books of all the sepoys have been submitted to the AGPR for the release of maturing increments but the AGPR has objected that Customs sepoys are required to submit option form along with pay slip and Computerised National Identity Card number to get the amount of their maturing increment.

The circular has urged the Customs Appraisement and Preventive Lahore sepoys which are over 700 to get form and deposit it with AGPR to have their cases processed at the earliest.

The maturing increment case of the Customs sepoys has been lingered on for the last one year and the number of employees have been failed to attain their maturing increments, while the customs sepoys in other parts of the country have been given their maturing increments, officials said.

They said that govt was using delaying tactics to further delay their maturing increments, adding that another six months’ time will be required to them to release the maturing increments.

They urged the authorities concerned to take notice of the matter.
