KARACHI: The Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation’s Anti-Smuggling Organisation, Karachi Region, has recovered Rs 15,045,091 under the head of duty/tax during the month of July 2015.
Sources told Customs Today that this amount was recovered following the seizure of different kinds of smuggled items in the month of July 2015.
The Anti-Smuggling Organisation authorities have already geared up their efforts to curb smuggling, and the seizure of the above-said items is part of their renewed efforts.
