ASO Faisalabad seizes Mazda mini truck‏

FAISALABAD: Anti Smuggling Organization ( ASO)  Faisalabad seizes  foreign origin Mazda mini truck bearing registration number LPT-7396, chassis No. AK-302379 engine No. 503946.

Well informed sources of Anti-Smuggling Organization told Customs Today that Collector Customs MCC Faisalabad Tauseef Ahmed Qureshi received a credible information regarding smuggling of above said vehicles.

After receiving the information, Collector Tauseef Ahmed Qureshi immediately constituted a raiding team comprising Zahid Bukhari (Superintendent) Safder Ali , Mehmood Ahmad Dogar (inspectors), Muhammad Naeem, Hafiz Nisar Ahmad, and Israr Ahmad ( Sepoy’s ),

The raiding team intercepted Mazda mini truck near Adda Stand, Jhang Road, Faisalabad. They asked the owner of the vehicle who was identified as Naveed Ahmed son of Ghulam Farid who is resident of Chak No. 215, near Bijli Ghar, Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad to produce legal documents regarding import of Mazda mini truck. But the owner of the vehicle failed to produce the same.

Upon his failure customs teams seized the vehicle while further proceedings are still underway till the filing of this report.
