ASO Faisalabad seizes non-duty paid Nissan truck‏

FAISALABAD: The Anti Smuggling Organization ( ASO)  Faisalabad has seized a non duty paid Nissan truck. Its market value of the vehicle is Rs 35,000,00.

Sources told Customs Today that Collector Customs Faisalabad Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhary formed special teams for the checking of non-duty paid vehicles plying on roads in Faisalabad.  During routine checking, the ASO team comprising  Zahid Bukhari (superintendent),  Muhammad Munir Ahmad, Abdul Nasir, Zulifqar Ali, (inspector) intercepted a Nissan truck bearing registration number SBA-070 near Sumandari Road.

The ASO team asked its owner who was identified as Khalid Mehmood son of Abdul Sattar to produce legal documents regarding possession of the vehicle but they failed to produce the documents. After which ASO team seized the truck and registered a case against its owner.
