ASO Lahore seizes smuggled goods worth Rs 131m in 4 months

LAHORE: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Lahore Anti-Smuggling Organisation has impounded vehicles, goods and articles worth Rs 131.37 million during the four months from September to December for the financial years 2014-15.

The revenue generated is 38 percent up as compared to the same period during the corresponding year. The collectorate had seized vehicles, good and articles worth Rs 82.21 during the four months from September to December of FY 2013-14. The wing registered cases against 87 non-customs paid vehicles, goods and articles worth Rs 131 million.
