ASO Peshawar seizes various items valued at Rs4.218m from July 17 to 23

PESHAWAR: The Anti-Smuggling Organization Peshawar Squad-01 and Squad-02 confiscated different smuggled goods worth Rs4.218million from 17th to 23rd of July Financial Year 2017-18.

According to details given by Zakir Muhammad, Deputy Collector ASO Peshawar, that, during above said period, the ASO squad-01 seized smuggled goods valued at Rs2.42million. The goods comprise various kinds of miscellaneous items.
During above the same period, the ASO Peshawar squad-02 impounded different smuggled goods worth Rs0.921million. During said period, the ASO confiscated miscellaneous goods valued at Rs0.165million, 21 smuggled tyres worth Rs0.144million, 27 steel nails priced Rs0.0081million, tyres and tubes valued at Rs0.144million, 24 dry batteries worth Rs0.240million and seized different other goods valued at Rs0.0147million.
He said that all the squads, working under the jurisdiction of Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar, achieved required results due to timely mobilization. It is all due to teamwork which resulted in such a brilliant performance of the ASO North.
