Customs I&I auctions 14 luxury vehicles, other items

KARACHI: Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) has issued notices to all the bidders and purchasers regarding the auction at Directorate’s State Warehouse as per schedule no 07/2017.

The goods which are being put for auction at the State Warehouse include leftover, rejected and fresh lots of goods as well as luxury vehicles. The auction will generate revenue worth millions of rupees.

At least 14 luxury vehicles, including Honda Accord car model 2002, Toyota Grand Mark-II car model 2002, Toyota Mark-X car model 2007, Toyota Crown car model 1995, Toyota Prado jeep, model 1999, Toyota Mark X car model 2005, BMW 745Li car model 2003, BMW car model 2000, BMW 750i car model 2006, BMW 745i car model 2002, Toyota Corolla car (Altus Saloon) model 2004, Toyota Mark-X car model 2004, Toyota Surf jeep model 1999 and Cherokee Grand Summit jeep model 2011 will be put for the auction.

The smuggled luxury vehicles and 3,770 kilogram of foreign origin cloth has also been apprehended in several raids by the ASO. The auction will commence tomorrow till the recovery of the healthy amount.
