ASO Sara-E-Mohajar seizes Toyota Vitz car

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO ) Sara-e- Mohajir has seized a used Toyota Vitz car. The market value of the car is Rs 765,039 while its CIF value is Rs 450,000.

Sources told Customs Today  that Assistant Collector Customs Mohammad Asim Awan, after receiving information regarding the vehicle, constituted a raiding party comprising Sardar Muhammad Ch, (Superintendent ), Ashger Mehdi Naqvi and Muhammad Umer Bhatti (inspector ) Rana Mehmoodul Hassan,  (havaldar), and Abdul Hameed and Ghulam Abbas (Sepoys).

The ASO team intercepted the car bearing registration No. AXE-162 Sindh model 2004 near Pull No  214 MM Road Bhakkar and asked the owner and driver of the vehicle, who were identified as GM Meer son of  Muhammad Ameen, a  resident of Pero Kach Toj Khila district South Wazristan, and Andul Samad son  Raza Muhammad, to produce legal documents regarding the possession of the car. Both the accused failed to provide the same. After their failure, the ASO team seized the vehicle and registered a case against its owner.
