ASO Sargodha seizes smuggled Land Cruiser

SARGODHA: The Anti-Smuggling Organisation of Sargodha seized foreign origin (used) Toyota Land Cruiser black colour.

According to details, Collectorate of Customs Faisalabad received information about the said vehicle. The Customs authorities intercepted the vehicle without any registration plate near Canal Bridge Chungi No. 9, Satellite Town, Sargodha .

When the raiding party asked the owner of the vehicle to produce legal documents of the vehicles, he could not produce any document regarding legal import of vehicle. So the raiding party which comprised of Umer bin Zaffer Chatthah Assistant Collector (ASO) , Mohammad Mansha, Bashir Ahmed, Muhammad Munir Ahmed (Inspectors), Shakoor Ahmed, Ghulam Abass and Muhammad Mansha (sepoys) seized the Toyota Land Cruiser on the spot.

The Anti-Smuggling Organisation also registered a case against its owner Khawar Abdul Khaliq s/o Abdul Khaliq who is resident of Satellite Town Sargodha. Further proceedings are in progress.
