ASO seizes 45,000 liters smuggled high speed diesel, arrests driver

KARACHI: Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I), Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO), has seized a Hino tanker filled with smuggled high speed diesel.

An ASO team under the supervision of Superintendent Haji Muhammad Aslam along with area police intercepted the Hino oil tanker bearing registration no: TKS-540. The team recovered 45,000 liters of smuggled diesel worth millions of rupees. The driver of the tanker has been arrested and a first information report has been lodged against him.
