ASO seizes smuggled diesel worth Rs 3.9 million in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) of Model Customs Collectorate Hyderabad has seized 30,000 litres of smuggled diesel worth Rs 3.9 million.

The ASO team on tip-off conducting an operation and recovered 30,000 litres of smuggled high-speed diesel (HSD) from an oil tanker with registration number TLN-080. The team also seized PVC worth Rs 1 million.

As per the details, a team of ASO including Superintendent Nadeem Ahmad Usmani, Deputy Superintendent Sikandar Akbar Panhwar, Seizing Officer Khair Muhammad Pathan and Inspector Momin Shah took action on the instruction of Hyderabad Collector Ahmad Mujtaba Memon.
