ATIR adjourns hearing of case filed by M/s Pak Telecom Mobile Ltd

ISLAMABAD: Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) Account Member Dr Ghulam Mujtaba Bhatti dated in office hearing of M/s Pak Telecom Mobile Limited’s case.

According to details, M/s Pak Telecom Mobile Limited had challenged recovery notice issued to it in head of outstanding income tax by the LTU, Islamabad.

Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited had submitted that the department had issued the demand for the tax year 2013 in head of income tax under provisions of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), officers of LTU including commissioner Inland Revenue, commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) and Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) were made respondent in the case.

The case was remanded back to the tribunal by the IHC. Earlier, the bench had reserved the decision and had maintained department’s order in disposal.
