AZERBAIJAN: Azerbaijani border guards foiled the smuggling of a large amount of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan.
As a result of the operations conducted by Azerbaijani border guards, smuggling of a large amount of drugs from Iran to the country was prevented, the State Border Service (SBS) told APA.
The operations were conducted at the frontier post in the Bahramtapa settlement of Imishli region. Consequently, 7 kg and 800 grams of dried marijuana were withdrawn from circulation.
