Bahamas Leaks: Dar directs FBR, SECP, SBP to investigate individuals, companies

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar has directed Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Security & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and State Bank of Pakistan to investigate the individuals and companies named in Bahamas Leaks for owning offshore firms.

The minister passed this direction on Thursday while presiding over a meeting attended by Special Assistance to Prime Minister on Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan and senior officials of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance said.
