KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation claims to have impounded two smuggled cranes.
According to sources, Balochistan Customs Intelligence nabbed two cranes worth Rs 5.5 million and Rs 6.6 million during a raid. The cranes were on their way to Quetta from Chaman.
Sources further added that Balochistan Customs Intelligence impounded many smuggled and non-duty paid vehicles, but it was for the second time that it impounded cranes in Balochistan.
According to intelligence sources, Balochistan Customs Intelligence impounded 28 non-duty paid vehicles during the past three months.
