The Federal Board of Revenue has developed the software for biometric attendance of their staff to ensure their presence during duty hours.

It was observed that biometric attendance system was not functional for those who are posted at Multan Dry Port, Muzaffargarh Export Terminal, Multan International Airport, General Post Offices, State Ware House Industrial Estate and especially those who are working in the field for anti-smuggling operations as they consider it impossible to reach at the duty place on time after covering long distances.

The Federal Board of Revenue efforts to control errant employees have failed miserably due to useless biometric machines at Customs House Multan.

Customs Collectorate is using the old muster system to mark employees’ attendance due to useless biometric machines installed at Customs House.
