LAHORE: The Board of Revenue Punjab has made promotions of the revenue officers conditional with their performance so that their abilities could be polished, sources said here.
Sources told Customs Today that the Revenue officers have been told not to bow to any undue pressure in achieving the revenue targets. All the revenue officers are assigned targets in every district and they have to set an example of achieving targets.
The sources further said that the performance of every staff is being monitored in the Revenue Department and the dishonest and inefficient officers have been denied any place in Revenue Department, it was added.
