Bull-run persists as KSE gains another 342pts to reach 33811

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange continued the upward momentum of early trading and gained 342 points to reach 33811.23 points level till midday on Friday, the last trading day.

The stock market recorded the highest trading level of 33811.23 points and lowest level of 33469.15 points. The maximum trading level remained 74,413,880 shares, having Rs5,962,893,081 value.

Earlier, the KSE added huge 218 points in early trading to reach 33687.22 level, with the volume of 34,467,590 shares.

On Thursday, KSE-100 gained another 92 points, but there was no major change in market volumes, which were at 179.22 million while the day was closed at 33,469 levels. Trading turnover improved to 179 million shares compared to Wednesday’s 132 million. The market cap accumulated higher at Rs 7.15 trillion. Futures trade remained positive to increase to 34.7 million contracts.
