Bulls hit back as KSE-100 index adds 253pts to close at 35700 level

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange Wednesday added massive 252.86 points to close at 35699.75 points level.

The stock witnessed highest trading level at 35722.76 points and lowest level at 35430.82 point, with the total volume of 177,439,250 shares, having Rs12,218,792,054 value.

On Tuesday, shares market closed lower on late session profit-taking in overbought scrips across the board. The KSE-100 Index down by 49.73 points to close at 35446.89 or 0.14pc.

Market opened on a positive note today as cement sector led the rally but profit-taking was witnessed after the news came in the market of Iran and six world powers sealing a historic accord to curb the Islamic Republic’s nuclear programme in return for the lifting of sanctions, bringing pressure on international oil price.
