Bulls return as KSE-100 index up by 255pts to 32765 level

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange comes out of bearish trend as 100-index added 255 points to take the tally to 32765.46 level till midday on Wednesday.

The stock recorded highest trading level at 32774.46 points and lowest level at 32464.12 points, with total volume of 71,192,500 shares, having Rs5,117,492,465.

The three top traded companies were Pak Elektron with a volume of 14,356,000 and price per share of 68.85 (1.84), Fauji Cement with a volume 11,677,500 of price per share of 33.61 (0.78), MapleLeafCement with a volume 8,271,000 of price per share of 68.20 (3.00).

Earlier, the KSE witnessed positive note in trading when it opened as 100-index gained 44 points to reach 32554.75 level, with 13,565,650 shares.

On Tuesday, the KSE benchmark 100-index lost 101.60 points or 0.60 percent to drop to 32510.35 points. Total volume traded in the market was 98,527,470 shares with 312 total traded companies out of which 105 were up 183 were down and 24 were unchanged.
