Business community hails Rajwana’s appointment as Governor of Punjab

MULTAN: The business community of Multan Friday hailed appointment of Senator, Malik Rafiq Rajwana as Governor of Punjab and hoped business and industrial sector would get much needed boost during his tenure.

President Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Mian Iqbal Hassan declared Senator Malik Rafiq Rajwana as the best lawyer, a good politician and a senior Muslim Leaguer.

He said that his appointment would help in alleviating the miseries of the people of South Punjab.

MCCI president also hailed the government on giving representation to South Punjab and termed it a good omen for the people of this area.

He said that MCCI would invite seasoned politician to address the business community and to share the problems of business community with him.

Meanwhile, PML-N workers, lawyers, women and youth continued celebrations on Friday.

They distributed sweets among the people. A large number of people thronged the residence of Rafiq Rajwana and congratulated his family.
