PESHAWAR: The Bonded Ware House (BWH) Peshawar earned Rs415.48million of All Duties and Taxes and miscellaneous surcharges during July Financial Year (FY) 2017-18.
According to details given by sources of Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar, the performance of the collectorate has been satisfactory during above said period. During above said period, the BWH received Rs62.83million of Customs Duty (CD) while BWH Peshawar did Rs0.15million of Ware House Surcharges. The BWH got Rs1.33million of Redemption Duty (RD) on Imports.
The sources told CT that, during July FY17-18, the BWH Peshawar earned Rs9.02million of Sales Tax (ST) whereas it did Rs115.18million of Sales Tax VM on palm oil. The BWH received Rs10.73million of Additional Income Tax (AIT) and it did Rs8.50million of Federal Excise Duty (FED) on Imports of Rs per 01 kilogram.
Sources further said the BWH generated Rs2885.95million during FY2016-17 under the head of All Duties and Taxes.
The sources added that the BWH got Rs1092.15million of CD while it did Rs0.53million of miscellaneous taxes. And the BWH collected Rs11.29million of WH Surcharges during FY16-17.
The sources further told that, during above said period, the BWH received Rs19.23million of RD on Imports whereas it did Rs46.02million of ST. And the BWH generated Rs1427.55million of ST on palm oil while it did Rs183.83million of AIT. The BWH Peshawar got Rs104.75million of FED on Imports of per Rs01 kilogram during FY16-17.
