CAC Pakistan summit & Agro Chemical Expo on August 5-6

LAHORE: China Agro Chemical (CAC) Pakistan Summit and Pak-China Agro Chemical Expo will be held on August 5-6, 2014 at Lahore Expo Centre.
The President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Sohail Lashari at a press conference said that Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif and Chinese Ambassador would attend the event Pak-China suit and expo.

Mr. Lashari said that it was indeed a matter of great pride for LCCI that CCPIT Chemical which was a well known Chinese organizations have partnered with us to hold CAC Pakistan 2014 in Expo Center, Lahore from 5-6 August 2014.

He informed the leading groups and companies of Pakistan associated with different sub-sectors of agriculture have confirmed their participation in CAC Pakistan.

“The Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research (NFS&R) Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan and Punjab Minister for Agriculture Dr Farukh Javed were also taking interest in this mega event” he added.

Around 60 stalls booked by Chinese companies would display state of the art technologies and solutions improving the productivity of agro-based products and also to keep the crops free from hazards.

He said that Pakistan is an agrarian economy but we lag far behind in terms of obtaining the desired level of knowledge and ways to combat with potential threats to our crops existing in the form of pests, unnecessary herbs and scarcity of water.

He said that other than exhibition, CAC Pakistan Summit will also be organized on 5th August 2014 at Main Auditorium of Expo Center Lahore.

He said that the CAC Pakistan will provide a joint forum to government officials and industry professionals to highlight the benefits of using pesticides, fertilizers, processed seeds, latest yet affordable agri-equipment and machinery.

He said that we expect great results from this exhibition and hope that this event will prove to be a perfect beginning in the right direction to bring greater fortunes to Pakistan.

He said that this event will further strengthen the trade relations between Pakistan and China and will take both the countries even more closer.
