BEAR RIVER: More than 16 pounds of marijuana were seized from a home in Bear River after a search by the Digby RCMP this past weekend.
Officers executed a search warrant at the home on December 12, seized the drugs, and arrested a 50-year-old female and 38-year-old male.
The two are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 8.
