FAISALABAD: Development of capital market on sustained basis is a prerequisite to give a quantum jump and reinvigorate the economic and industrial growth in Pakistan, said President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Engineer Muhammad Saeed Sheikh.
He was addressing Pakistan Capital Market Expo-2017, organised by the Capital Development Company (CDC), for creating awareness among potential investors here on Friday.
He termed the stock market a barometer to evaluate economy of any country. “The economic decisions have immediate impact on the stock market, which is indicated by the bullish or bearish impacts,” he added.He said that due to prudent policies of the government, industrial and economic activities are gaining momentum in the country. He appreciated the CDC management for holding functions to create awareness among investors.
