Central Bank of Syria increases amount of financing import licenses from $100.000 to $150.000

DAMASCUS: Governor of the Central Bank of Syria (CBS) Adeb Mayaleh said the Bank raised the amount of financing import licenses from $ 100 to $150 for each importer.

“The CBS is committed to sell 100 million USD for the purpose of funding imports,”, Mayaleh said at meeting held with the participation of representatives of money-exchange to discuss the market developments and the price of the Syrian pound against foreign currencies.
