Central Region collects Rs 1,271m WHT during April

LAHORE: The Customs Central Region has collected Rs 1,271 million under the head of withholding tax during the month of April 2016.

As per details, Lahore Appraisemnet collected Rs 578 million WHT up 25 percent against the proposed target of Rs 463 million. Collectorate of Customs Preventive collected Rs 648 million against the assigned target of Rs 739 million.

Multan collectorate on the other hand collected Rs 15 million withholding tax while Faisalabad collectorate collected Rs 29 million as withholding tax.

On the whole,  the Central Region collected Rs 1,271 million against the proposed target of Rs 1,270 million during the month of April 2016.
