Central Region’s duty, taxes collection up 8pc

LAHORE: Customs Central Region registered growth of 8 percent collecting all duty and taxes Rs137310.85 million during the eleven months of financial year 2015-16.

As per details, Customs Appraisement collected Rs58828.88 million against the target of Rs51219.75 million while the collectorate of  Customs Preventive collectedRs 27573 million against Rs29496.36 million.

The collectorate of Multan collected Rs43255.70 million against target of Rs39828 while Customs Faisalabad collected Rs7652 million against target of Rs6752 million.

Overall the Central Region’s collectorate under the supervision of Chief Collector of Customs Samaira Nazir Khan has registered growth of Rs8 percent collecting Rs137310.85 million duty and taxes during the eleven months of FY 2015-16.
