Chairman BOI suggests cut in taxes to attract investment

ISLAMABAD: Board of Investment (BOI) Chairman Dr. Miftah Ismail has proposed to start one window operation to facilitate the international investor and cut number of taxes for the new businessmen.

According to the details, Chairman BOI while briefing the Fianance Minister Ishaq Dar about the taxes for the new investment told that 47 different taxes are being paid by the new investors for starting the business due to which international and local investors feel hesitation to invest.
