Chairman FBR Tariq Pasha due in Lahore today

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Tariq Mehmood Pasha is due in Lahore to attend 44th passing out parade of the Inland Revenue.

Sources told Customs Today that the FBR chairman will meet the 35 Inland Revenue officers of 44th common course. The sources further said that the officers of the customs and Inland Revenue will participate in the passing out parade. Chief collector of Customs Zeba Hai Azhar, Customs DOT Director Saima Shahzad and others are also invited.

Sources told that during his stay in provincial metropolis Chairman Federal Board of Revenue will also preside over special meeting to review revenue collection measures. Sources told that all the collectors of Customs Central Region will brief the chairman about the strategy to recover outstanding dues from defaulters and to achieve revenue collection target assigned by Federal Board of Revenue for Fiscal Year 2017-18 the sources concluded as saying.
