ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan will conduct personal hearing of two officials here on May 4, 2016 in order to decide their cases.
Inland Revenue (IR) BS-17 officer Muhammad Afzal Malik and Customs Inspector Abdul Hafeez Khan will attend the hearing to defend the allegations against them.
IR officer Afzal Malik is facing charges regarding the misuse of powers and found guilty in the initial inquiry report against him. The inquiry officer has recommended punishment to him.
The chairman will also hear a case against Customs Inspector Abdul Hafeez Khan who is facing major penalty after found involved in corruption. Both officials have approached the chairman for personal hearing where they will try to prove their innocence.
