Chief Collector Abdul Rashid aims at achieving target

KARACHI: Customs Appraisement-South Chief Collector Abdul Rashid Sheikh through a letter has directed the heads of all collectorates to ensure achievement of the revenue target by the end of the fiscal year2015-16.

In a letter, the chief collector has directed the authorities concerned to take every necessary and possible step for recovering revenue and ultimately surpass the revenue target.

The Appraisement-South’s chief further said that the collectors of all the three field formations i.e. Appraisement-West, Appraisement-East and Port Qasim should keep vigilant eye over the clearance of the imported consignments and ensure zero pendency.

The chief further asked the authorities concerned to ensure that no transfer and posting should be recommended by the end of the current fiscal year 2015-16.
