Chief Collector Customs Burki holds review meeting of collectors

LAHORE: Central Region Chief Collector Customs Rozi Khan Burki has held a revenue review meeting with all the four collectors of customs of the region.

The collectors who attended the review meeting included collector of customs preventive Mukarram Jah, collector of customs appraisement Muhammad Zahid Khokhar, MCC Faislabad collector Tauseef Qureshi and MCC Multan collector Sarfraz Ahmad Waraich.

Sources said that the collector of customs reviewed the six months revenue collection performance of the collectorates including MCC, Lahore appraisement, MCC preventive, Mcc Faislabad and MCC Multan. The chief collector instructed the collectors to prepare action plan for the collection of the revenues in order to hit the target for the financial year 2014-15.

The collectors on the other hand briefed the chief collector about their future strategy for the revenue collection. The collectors also briefed the chief about the revenue collection of the first half. However, the MCC preventive remained in the limelight because of its better performance among all the four collectors.
