KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 42.02 points or 0.12 percent to reach 35546.03 points and volume of 160,418,730 shares on Tuuesday.
Earlier, the Karachi stock market started gaining 19.61 points to reach 35607.66 points level after losing massive 349 points on previous day on account of prevailing security situation in the country after Attock blast, which claimed life of more than 20 people, including Punjab Home Minister Col (r) Shuja Khanzada.
On Monday, the KSE-100 index lost 349.28 points to close at 35,588.05 points as compared to 35,937.33 of the previous session. The KSE-30 Index shed 262.39 points and closed at 21,849.33 points, against 22,111.72 points of the last closing.
High and low were 35762.93 and 35408.02 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 160,418,730 shares.
