KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index gained 486.18 points or 1.43 percent to reach 34447.47 points and volume of 175,606,820 shares on Friday.
Earlier, the Karachi stocks shot up by 1.15 per cent as KSE-100 index gained 391 points to take the tally to 34352.48 points level.
On Thursday, the Karachi Stock Exchange’s (KSE) benchmark 100-index recorded a rise of 1.26% or 423.87 points to end at 33,961.29. However, trade volumes fell to 223 million shares compared with Wednesday’s tally of 278.69 million shares.
High and low were 34496.13 and 33961.29 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 175,606,820 shares.
