KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index gained 208.42 points or 0.62 percent to reach 34093.55 points and volume of 128,158,930 shares on Monday.
Total volume traded in the market was 128,158,930 shares with 334 total traded companies out of which 222 were up 100 were down and 12 were unchanged.
Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 58,842,000 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 49,428,100 shares.
The three top traded companies were Dewan Cement with a volume of 30,023,500 and price per share of 13.94 (0.06), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 25,915,500 of price per share of 8.40 (0.34), Japan Power with a volume 17,304,500 of price per share of 5.80 (0.83).
The top three advancers were Siemens Pak. with price per share 1213.56 (15.56), Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 1162.50 (27.50) and Bata (Pak) share of 3576.07 (26.44).
The top three decliners were Nestle Pak with price per share of 9999.99 (-200.01), Murree Brewery with price per share of 954.42 (-45.58) and Colgate Palmolive share of 1550.00 (-34.00).
High and low were 34144.97 and 33808.20 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 128,158,930 shares.
