KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index gained 35.41 points or 0.10 percent to reach 35537.69 points and volume of 246,535,850 shares on Tuesday.
Total volume traded in the market was 442,025,260 shares with 362 total traded companies out of which 196 were up 141 were down and 25 were unchanged.
Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 106,697,500 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 42,503,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were Byco Petroleum with a volume of 29,405,000 and price per share of 28.64 (1.36), Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume 25,287,000 of price per share of 30.37 (1.44), Pak Int.Bulk with a volume 23,940,500 of price per share of 41.06 (1.95).
The top three advancers were Nestle Pak with price per share 9990.00 (240.00), Sapphire Tex. with price per share of 632.90 (30.00) and Mari Petroleum share of 503.22 (23.96).
The top three decliners were Exide (PAK) with price per share of 1158.10 (-31.98), Sapphire Fiber with price per share of 576.00 (-24.00) and Fazal Textile share of 365.00 (-17.00).
High and low were 35637.48 and 35431.37 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 246,535,850 shares.
